[Amazon.ca] [SOLD OUT] Deal is dead Sboly budget conical coffee grinder, RFD editor pick 75$

UPDATE: OUT OF STOCK, DEAL IS DEAD Admin, please remove

A decent grinder with 19 settings and steel conical burr. While 35, 18, 12 etc setting models are available it's 19 settings that gets most accolade. It claims to work for all types of coffee and will work great even for those who recently bought pour over, AeroPress and, perhaps, entry-level espresso machines with pressurized baskets such as Bambinos. Yet I would not rely on a budget machine for partially fine grinds, check the below video review

5,50$ rebate and 10$ coupon bring price down to 75$

The best coffee grinder according to the RFD editor, and generally favorably reviewed in the budged category.

Reminds me of the cuisinart sold at costco for around $45 There can be huge differences in quality of coffee grinders (I am saying this as someone with $1000+ grinders) But this just looks like a generic chinese branded grinder.

I went from a dual blade $12 top loader walmart special, to another one, to 'bottom of the barrel' adjustable grinder which was roughly $250. To me it's a super fancy upgrade, but in reality a good quality grinder costs a lot to not fail and become landfill. This is even more true with finer grinds and overall equal sized grounds.

Yeah there definitely are huge differences in quality, something like a Baratza Encore is probably the most often recommended lower budget product (It is still something like $180) but they encourage repairs and are pretty fantastic overall. I would recommend anyone considering this to stretch their budget a little to something a little less disposable or to look at the used market.

I received this as a gift last Christmas but ultimately ended up returning it. Too many fines and inconsistent grinds. Idk who’s writing the reviews but this wasn’t a hit for me. Another note to add, it was static galore during drier winter months.
I probably didn’t need it but bought it anyway

op, on your first post at the bottom right where "reply" typically is, click on the trash can. It'll instantly expire the thread

Anyone else notice that Sboly itself is suddenly dead on Amazon? Every link 404’s and searching for Sboly on Amazon comes up with no results. Weird.

The 18 position (more coarse) grinder is available from a Chinese seller on Spanish Amazon
(Longgangqu Bantianjiedao Xiangjiaotangcun), yet rebate is small.

Shardor grinder looks very much like Sboly with few minor differences.
https://www.amazon.ca/SHARDOR-Electric- ... B087F8N6W3
https://www.amazon.ca/SHARDOR-Grinder-E ... B08DKM6CFB

Above are 'Amazon choice' for burr grinder and conical burr grinder.
I believe I have seen one or two accolade review for Shardor but do not want to attract any more downvotes.

Unlike the Sboly, the manufacturer website provides the manual.

While Shardor description or manual never mentiones turkish coffee, there are few Chinese models that include turkish coffee (which could means finer grind or that Shardor is too honest) , for instance
Bonsenkitchen https://www.amazon.com/Settings-Stainle ... B08KXSPLMN,

coupon rebates are though very modest
