Tech specs are wrong. Its 60hz not 120hz. Keep that in mind if you choose to buy it!

Great find! Picked one up for my office. Almost bought the 800E when it was $597 at costco. For my needs, this is perfect!

Now back to christmas shopping for others lol

Perhaps people are cencelling their orders when realizing its native 60hz refresh rate. A 49" Sony at this price point is tempting, but its not the first temptation outside my criteria I've seen this season. I'm looking for a cheap big secondary TV ~ 50" for ~$200 +~$50 if its a better brand name and I believe I will find my TV before the new year, I'm gonna pass, but thanks to the OP for a good post.

price back to $349. just bought one. Good price for Sony tv, especially since they are a Premium brand. dont really care about the latest specs. A new tv is a new tv

The picture quality of the Sony X750F is decent. The contrast ratio is low, and the TV cannot display deep uniform blacks, which is noticeable when you are in a dark room. It can get reasonably bright, but not bright enough to overcome the glare of a bright room. The color accuracy out of the box is remarkable, and most people will not need to calibrate to correct any color inaccuracies. The viewing angles are decent, and you can watch the TV from small angles without sacrificing picture quality. Gray uniformity is good as is reflection handling.

Yes. It would actually make a decent PC monitor because I believe it's IPS (at least the 55" version is). Input lag is decent (in game or graphics mode), and supports 4:4:4 chroma at 4k60.

Would not recommend this as a home theater type TV though. IPS doesn't produce blacks (especially when there is no local dimming).

I would check back in periodically if you want to pick this up, I was able to put in an order at ~ 2:20 PM for the sale price and there is an open box one available right now.
