This isn't even sold by Amazon.ca ($398)... that's not who the retailer is. Amazon.ca is just the shipper, marketplace, warehouse in this case.

Misleading. At least put down 3rd party seller in the title.

Good catch. They aren't on the authorized dealer list.

For reference: Sony Canada's warranty policy: authorized dealers only.

they aren't. they will just give you a 30 days themselves and if you bring cash, you can get tax free.

Visions has the earbuds and do 15% price beat, if you can get them to match this Amazon deal

Which retailers allow returns for the earbuds? I find it kinda risky to spend so much money if they won't fit me right... I just had to return Bose QC Earbuds thanks for their excellent return policy.

This is Third party seller means not authorized and no warranty. Besides, no guarantee that you will get genuine product. I would only buy from Amazon if it is “ Ship and Sold my Amazon.ca”

so I ordered these and I'm really disappointed. Used to be an audiophile and have owned lots of headphones. These are the biggest letdown ever from Sony. The ANC is excellent as expected, but the sound quality is terrible for a $350 pair of headphones. I do not consider these hi-fi at all, they are similar or even worse than several pairs of amazon anker earbuds. Bass is adequate but not impressive, mid range is awful and veiled, highs are recessed. In a blind test I'd guess these would have cost ~$50. Fair warning. I have owned WH-1000XM3 before as well, don't expect anywhere near the audio quality of those.

That's weird. I love these things. I bought a pair for $299 around Christmas from the source.

I had previously tried the Samsung Buds+ and really didn't like them. I thought the audio quality was complete crap compared to my wired IEM's.

When I got these I thought it was a lot better than the Samsung's, but still not quite as good as a good wired set. Over time they kept sounding better and better, which led me to believe like wired IEM's they need some burn in time. Now they sound pretty good. I don't think they sound as good as my wired's, but they sound pretty good for wireless. I feel I got my money's worth much more on these for $299 than I did the Samsung Buds+ at $100.
