[Amazon Canada] Sony WH1000XM3 Noise Canceling Headphones Black - $402.18

Probably the best NC headphones on the market today.
These usually never go on sale and sometimes are hard to find stock.
I had a pair back in January, but had to return due to the control going bezerk in cold weather.
From reading the forums, the new batches should have the issue addressed, but that's not 100%.
Can PM at BB as well

Historical low. Nice find OP.

I ended up returning mine, prefer the QC35 due to more comfortable ear pieces, lack of finicky touch controls, and less sound leaking

Make sure you enable LDAC if you use an Android device.

Does LDAC come disabled by default?

I believe it's enabled by default but just wanted to mention it:
On your Android Device go to BT > Device > Click the settings gear > There should be an LDAC switch at the bottom

If you are having issues you may need to fool around in Developer Settings on your Android device.

You definitely want to be using LDAC with these cans.

Were these the same ones at Bay Bloor Radio where you trade in old headphones and get these for around the $300 mark after taxes or something like that?

If so, I love mine :)

Another important consideration is your intended use. If you plan to use these outside in cold Canadian weather you could run into issues. There are widespread reports that cold weather causes temperature differences across the touch controls that are interpreted by the device as user touches. This can cause many side effects while listening such as pause, mute, volume changes and track skips.

Google the issue and you'll find plenty of threads. Here are a few you can check out:

In regards to the touch controls, was this in cold weather or room temperature?

Funnily enough, I returned my QC35s for the first gen Sonys because I occasionally listen to music with some sound at the low end of the spectrum, which, sadly, the QC35s do not reproduce at all. They have amazing sound separation, but a well below flat bass response, I'm pretty sure they were tuned exclusively for airplane jetting executives listening to folk-rock.

I'm curious about these touch control issues in the cold though, and would honestly expect them to be fixed by now, because I've had zero problems with the first gen touch controls over the past couple of years.

BB does not allow returns on opened headphones. Amazon does.
