[Amazon Canada] Stanley 64oz insulated growler - $42

Green version is on sale. Chatted with a couple people that have one and these things work as advertised (24hrs cold and carbonated).

Perfect for beach/camping season

These are very good. A buddy of mine has one and loves it, although it find it performs comparably to my "lifeline" models I bought years ago at a similar price and I prefer to be able to remove the lid entirely rather than the floppy top version here. Upside of the floppy ones are that you can't lose them, so that's an upside for some people.

Good find OP.

Is this a standard size? How much would this cost to fill with an average beer?

A growler is 64oz (1900ml) as a standard size. It depends on the brewery and what you are filling it with - but my local breweries are between $10 & $18 for a growler fill. Some may make you buy their own bottle (and pay the deposit) - others may just fill this. If you are just pouring cans of Bud Light into it - it would take just over 5 (355ml) or 4 (473ml) cans to fill it.

I’ve never heard of a brewery only filling their growler.

You can buy glass growlers at a brewery for about $15. What I posted is overkill for home use

I've been to a few. Last one was side launch, they would only fill their growlers.

Wow, that’s seems like both a poor business model and the antithesis of the brewing community idea

It should, but probably not as long as it keeps cool.
