Thanks annoying, I preordered as well, but got charged the original $79 price. Too bad Amazon doesn't do price protection. Pain in the butt to return and reorder. Ah well, at least it's sorted, the boy is going to get a kick out of this thing for Xmas.

Same here, they also got us by saying it won’t be available until mid-dec, that’s why I ordered so soon. They said it would come Christmas Eve lol I may try to return and rebuy to spite them. Every year there’s some type of problem with my Christmas Amazon order.

Good deal. Thanks for sharing. ToysRUs appears sold out anyway. The only better deal is IF ToysRUs has their F&F sale by the end of this week and takes off another 15-20%. They would also need a re-stock.

In for one! it was at 79 for ages and I doubt it'll get a deeper discount before xmas.

Also is it just me, but the "realistic" toys are incredibly creepy-looking compared to baby yoda on the show? I'm planning to get one from the itty bittys line as backup once the canadian hallmarks start stocking it early Dec. (https://www.hallmark.com/gifts/stuffed- ... D2053.html) .....Just in case the pricier version freaks out the little ones at xmas.
