I'd suggest you to amend subject and include Mouse on it, as someone who isn't familiar with the name, I wasn't sure if it was a mouse, keyboard or headset

I received mine today, it’s definitely the 2022 version as it should be.

Ensure you use the Steelseries software to update the firmware.

Otherwise it fixes any of the niggles I had with the previous generation. Haven’t tried Bluetooth much yet though I have my expectations set accordingly.

Anyone know how the buttons feel, I had a previous lightweight mouse and the mouse click buttons felt so cheap so had to return it.

I had another Steelseries (wired 600) and no problem with the click feel. It’s kinda interesting that the new wireless mouse is lighter than the old wired one. It feels well built on close inspection, but the lack of weight can still make it feel less well built.

I've been on some intense or long frag sessions, and appreciate the mesh design. Hand sweat is a thing and you can't grip your mouse as well with a wet hand. I remembered there were mesh mice back in the day that had a built-in fan to blow cool air over your hand so you don't sweat at all. However, having a moving part introduces a point of failure and it can get gunked up pretty quickly with dust and crud getting into the fan. A good idea in theory though. However, a mesh design is an improvement over a regular mouse though.

Why settle for full retail price when you can wait and get it at a lower price for better value (even better if there's a bundled freebies deal)? 😉

Depends on your taste, but the point is for weight reduction. Also helps if you have sweaty palms since you'll be getting air through the mouse. I have a glorious model o wireless and its the best mouse i've ever owned.

oh, interesting, palm sweat, hm...guess i just never thought of that, cuz i have like an in between palm and claw grip, so my palms never physically on the mouse itself, just my fingers, plus my palm doesnt generally sweat much to begin with. i can kinda see the usefulness then...

What kind of games are you people playing where you don't have 2 seconds to wipe your hands on something

As a casual gamer, does high DPI count really make a difference in playability and performance?

Bought the black one for around the same price in December. Amazing mouse for both gaming and productive work IMO.
