Wow...100 bucks is a good price for an electric blanket now? I think we paid 50 a few years ago. And 20 from Eatons back when I had hair. Just sayin....

I haven't heard anyone refer to Eatons, the actual store, in years.

OK boomer. lol Face With Tears Of Joy j/k

I totally agree inflation is out of control where things are double and even triple the price. Makes me value the stuff I already have and got at a huge discount, comparatively speaking.

Now Eatons is a name I haven’t heard in years! How about Woodward’s, K-mart, Sears, and Woolco? All of them are now enjoying the retail afterlife in retail heaven.
Why settle for full retail price when you can wait and get it at a lower price for better value (even better if there's a bundled freebies deal)? 😉

Paid $50 for this at Costco last year. Still have it. Use it as a giant heating mattress pad instead of blanket…

Is this like the heated "throws" they sell at Costco, where it is just basically a thin fleece? Or is it a legit full on blanket?

I've got queen sized ones from Costco where I just put it on the bed and sleep on top of it. But the heating coils stop about 6 or 8 inches from the edge. So my feet don't get the cozy warmness and my hands don't get it if I move them.

Looks like there're a variety of Sunbeam heated blankets on sale.

I've gone through a couple of mattress pads, maybe it's time to try the blanket.

Thanks OP.

cheers

He's still mad about that time Monsieur Eaton sent his mom a Leafs jersey by mistake.
