Beware of counterfeits, I wouldn't trust Amazon with that kind of things

Totally agree don't trust the actual manufacture's products themselves...

I try to avoid sunscreen with toxic chemicals.

Use a mineral based sunscreen:
-titanium dioxide
or
-zinc oxide....
Becoming more and more difficult to find unfortunately. That's what we use as well. Wife has severe skin allergies to the toxic formulations that most are made of.

Interesting, consumer report Equate doesn’t even qualify on their list, only Equate baby zinc one does. I guess that’s what’s I’m getting. Too bad they don’t seem to rank them for ease of use. Might be a good thing, too 5 best seems to attract lobbying/pressure from companies. Reminds me of all the “review” websites taking money from manufacturers tot aide their rating, like the recent mattress fiasco

Not important
I’m so picky with sunscreen. I used to buy whatever thinking all sunscreen was the same as long as it prevented a burn. I’ll only use la Roche posay for face because it has Mexoryl. Highly rated ingredient in the EU and banned in the US. And L’Oréal ombrelle because of mexoryl and neuteogena for helioplex. My only worry is aging and sunspots. I just read an article on ewg saying that The US gets a bad grade for UVA protection in their sunscreens too.
