I bought the 50" version last Black Friday. Picture is good, it has very slim bezels, friends have commented that it looks good. My main issue is it's super slow to boot and the IR receiver is very particular on the angle you aim.
How can an ant carry twenty times its body weight, but root beer floats are still delicious?

It was 179 yesterday, but still a good price.

I got the 32" for 140, not expecting much. I am very surprised, the picture looks pretty good after you adjust it. The speakers suck but I use external speakers anyway (the big logitech thx ones, with a subwoofer)

Honestly, if you aren't a snob and don't want to spend a month of rent on a tv, this is pretty good.

The 32" even came with 3 hdmi, and because we're sitting far away enough, 720p doesn't look different from 1080p.

As a bonus, it uses Sony tv remote codes so we can reuse the few Sony tv remotes we have lying around the house.

Bought 2 in the summer, now one of them has lines going across the screen, would not recommend.

The reviews state that this model only has one HDMI, even though it advertises too. So buyer beware!

I know, it was a pleasant surprise. If you look at the pictures, the 32" seems to be of an older model on the listing. The one I received looks like the 40" model which I assume is the more recent version, and definitely had 3 HDMI.

In any case, returns are free on Amazon if the listing didn't match so you're not taking a huge chance.

Sylvania (and the RCA TVs Superstore and Walmart sell) come from Curtis...likely the crappiest electronics company on the continent.

It's a shame it looks like Best Buy is getting out of their Insignia/Dynex TV line...always so much better than Curtis.

Who makes Insignia/Dynex, i assume its a rebadge?
In fact in Rand McNally they wear hats on their feet and hamburgers eat people
