After struggling to find a bar for a home gym / missing the CAP Beast bar, I saw posts about the Synergee bar. There's some in stock on amazon at $289.99 in both the 15kg and 20kg (Women and Men's) formats. You can also buy it from their website ( https://iheartsynergee.ca/collections/o ... 1548026982 ) and you get a 10% code instantly upon signing up to their website to drop the price a bit but shipping time might be longer (Although my order from their website shipped from an Amazon facility). I ordered one last week and it shipped on Thursday. Reviews seem to be quite good for the bar. Their powerlifting bar (Rhino) won't ship until September, but this will do for now and you can probably resell on Kijiji or return it to them (they seem to be very good about returns).

Also if you qualify for the teacher/military/first responder discount, it's 15% off their website price and they will apply it retroactively to your order if you order now then email them.

EDIT: 20% off iheartsynergee.ca with code AWESOME102 , but some noted that MSRP has increased 20-30% since COVID.

Thanks for posting. Are these 7 feet long? I'm looking for the Olympic ones that you see at the gym which would be the 20KG one.

Looks like Amazon only has the 15kg ones, going to order the 20kg bar from Synergee even though the shipping date for that is Sept.30. This will give me some time to put my squat cage together lol.

Men’s is 7’, apparently the women’s is 8” shorter per an email with them. The Olympic bars have spin, but I bought one and a power lifting bar ( arriving Sept) and they told me to return the Olympic bar if I don’t like it when my power lifting bar arrives. Reviews online sounded fantastic

That's what I mean, Amazon only has the 15kg ones but I want the 20kg to stay true to men's standard so I'm going to order from Synergee instead with the 10% sign-up code.

Just have to decide now whether I want a bar with spin or not. Spin would be better if doing clean & jerk exercises no?

The powerlifting bar is also 29mm in diameter as opposed to 28mm with the Olympic bars. Would you know what diameter is used in standard gyms?

I ordered an adjustable bench from their site mid-July, pre-ordered to be shipped by October 30th. Got it this week, so their website shipping times are definitely a lot more conservative. You can use code AWESOME101 for 10% off or AWESOME102 for 20% off. The bench is great for $290 shipped! Slight wobble but I've experienced similar wobble in other benches at my gym.

Yeah I got AWESOME101 from their email signup but AWESOME102 from a flyer that came with a christmas gift that I thankfully kept till now. Seems that you can only use AWESOME102 once per account. I tried scaling up the codes with no success, unfortunately. Good luck!

That's great, saved me another 10% thanks. Hope they cancel my 10% order without issues.

I've been looking for a 35lb kettlebell for awhile and most places are charging ridiculous shipping prices. So to get both this barbell and a 35kb kettelbell at 20% off and free shipping is fantastic imo. I was going to order the EZ Curl bar as well but remembered that my Marcy Squat Cage bought from Costco has cable pulleys so no need for redundant equipment.

Can any expert fellow redditor provide their thought - whether rhino bar is better than their regular weight bar? And is cerakote coating any better than hard chrome and black phosphate ones?
