Is it just me or is 720p simply not even pleasurable to watch anymore? Having said that, I remember dropping 1k on a tv like this (without smart functionality) a looooong time ago lol

720p on a 32" tv is a higher pixel density than 1080p on a 50“.

That is what actually matters for your viewing pleasure, not the resolution alone.

My kid may be permanently blinded by accidentally watching some 720p content. Until the bandages are removed it's touch and go right now the doctors say. He as a lot of retinal scarring and they are giving him about a 30% chance of any vision returning. He will also never be able to see true black again.

God bless, I would never wish 720p on anyone let alone a child.

100% BS. depends on the panel and the screen also. 720 is fine on that size of a TV. technology has far advanced in 5 years

Nope nope and nope......720 on any panel size is still garbage....... we're in a day and age where we use 27" 1440p to 4K Monitors so don't tell me 720p on a 32" is fine......unless you watch it from like 15ft away or some shit but at that point why even bother watching anything

I bet you 50% of the people on here mocking 720p have no idea a good portion of their TV shows are all 720p or have their box set to 480p.

That is hilarious. Face With Tears Of Joy

1280x720 at 32" is 45.9 ppi
while 1920x1080 at 50" is 44.1 ppi.

A difference of 1.8 ppi which is essentially the same.

Please do the math before making any such claims. Smiling Face With Sunglasses

You do realize you have to be like 3 feet away from a 32" tv to resolve 4K on a 32" TV, right? And like 5 ft for 1080p. So both are basically useless for most people on this size of TV at a normal 10-12 ft seating distance. That's assuming you have 20/20 vision.
Don't believe me, just google it.

HD: 720p
FHD (Full HD): 1080p
QHD (Quad HD): 1440p
UHD (Ultra HD / 4K): 2160p

For a TV of this size I'd get FHD, would be noticeable and versatility of plugging in other devices like a PC.

Is 45.9 not greater than 44.1? And you are telling me to do the math...?

The point is that there's more to it than resolution alone
