Great price but I'd be a little hesitant playing the panel lottery

My experience with 6 series from their warehouse says that these are almost guaranteed to have issues with DSE/banding. All 3/3 had it. One had a big white spot and DSE. That's why I saw this last night and didn't post.

So, don't worry if you missed out. The price only dropped because a hijacked third-party seller listed it for $420+$9 shipping, and the algorithm automatically price matched within a few hours.

Yep, this one was listed as "acceptable." Major cosmetic damage, indeed.

Just be aware that warehouse deal buyers are basically amazon's product testers. Why bother paying a bunch go technicians or service department when you can relay that onto the customer to research for you.

Yeah warehouse deals are hit and miss for sure, but Amazon stands behind the sales to replace them with new AFAIK. I bought a Black & Decker rice cooker a few days ago (mainly as the unit was otherwise sold out) for $16.99 instead of $24.99, and the unit was opened but never plugged in (still had a zip tie on the outlet plug), and otherwise perfect condition.

Not in my experience. I purchased a warehouse deal laptop and the video card didn't work. They wouldn't replace it with new or even another warehouse deal laptop, had to return for refund.
