Curious to see how the TV shapes up against the Hisense U6G. Rtings is testing it right now, so should know within the week or so.

All fingers points to this being a direct competitor to the U88G instead. The TCL 5 series would be a better comparision to the U68G.
Too bad there's no wide viewing angle like the Samsung QN90A or Sony X950H.

Gentlemen, this is a decent panel, but the pricing doesn't churn the loins.
Normally I would say wait for Black Friday 2021, but there will be countervailing forces between natural electronics price deflation (a good thing), and endemic Biden inflation (a mix of poor politico-economic policy and a supply shock due to COVID).
I choose to trust my gut here and opt to wait.

After doing some research on this TV, I'm really glad I went the "buy now think later", seems like a killer deal, prices probably wont even be much cheaper black friday, if at all since it's a brand new model.
