they say showers at the site in not allowed. so having this up is an invitation for them to pick on you.

sonyminidiscman is right... Ontario Parks won't allow outdoor showers on camping sites. Putting this up would assure a visit from the park rangers.

That said, it's a good deal for other uses.

Don't see a real purpose for this.

Wouldn't a true RFDer just jump in the lake or not shower for the length of the camping trip?

Exactly what we did last week-end. Six guys in one tent (Costco!) and the odor of stagnant water among other things...

Have a car camping trip coming up at the end of August in Ontario, what are the ways people are showering? Planning to put some tarps around our gazebo at night and use that as an impromptu showering room without attracting too much attention hopefully..

i did the tarp covering the tent room... mainly to bath the 1 yr old. but more like pouring cups of water on him. i took a big 10 or 15 gallon tub with me, filled it with cold water and boiled hot water, was enough for 3 adults and 1 baby to clean up a bit everynight

Just camped this past weekend with 2 kids. Didn't shower but just did a quick wipe on the kids.

That's half the fun of camping....
BO isn't a problem because it's covered up by the smell of the campfire

Thanks OP! I was on the fence about purchasing this. Pulled the trigger since my wife and kids can change in this when we head to the beach.
