I don't know why there is so much debate about this. We use pods and liquid depending on what's on sale. Having said that this seems to be very similar to normal prices at the grocery store.

Yes you need room for it to melt and an overfull load doesn't clean the clothes very well either

I just remembered the few times that it didn’t melt, I had put one of the pods on top of the clothes. For larger loads, when I put both pods in before loading my washer, I had no issues.
