This unit is often on sale for 19.99. Great unit if you have no other connectivity options like an actual ethernet cable.

I have it and my speeds went up 5x compared to the last crappy USB adapter I had.

I bought a "TP-Link Archer T3U AC1300 USB 3.0 WiFi Adapter, 2.4G/5G" on boxing day for 25$ on amazon.
It's only a usb dongle without an antenna. Does the antenna make a big difference ? From my bedroom I always get a "OK" signal (not perfect but not bad neither) from my google wi-fi router.
Thanks!

Yes, it makes a big difference. I've seen my speeds go up by 5x by using this one over an older antenna-less adapter. Some of the speed increase can be attributed to the newer chip in this one, but the antenna was the major contributor in my case.

The gains will depend on the physical location of your router in relation to your computer so YMMV. At this price, I think this is the best value USB adapter with solid performance.
