This is the E4 and not the M4.

Almost same specs, but the E4 has really slow Ethernet ports (100mbps).

Do not recommend unless you have an insanely slow internet speed. The best I got with this was 75mbps.

FYI for others, the D4 is available for $169 again. If you have PSP (Goodlife etc) or members plan you can get it for even less. They also sent out $10 gift cards for being on their email list so l ended up getting for $162 all in.

Makes sense as it's limited to 100mbps due to 10/100 port for WAN.

How much more does a gigabit port even cost... it’s even an AC1200 router, AC! It can support over gigabit per second and it can’t support that on Ethernet?!?

Constrained by design to sell M4s. One could buy 3 of them though and use them with one of the M5s or even M9 to build a proper network for cheap.

If somebody is having a basic internet connection (let's say 15-30 Mbps) and have no plans upgrading it+ does not do any home networking, this product seems not that bad?

I want your advice guys

It's pretty good if your internet connection speed is below 100 mpbs.

I used it to create a separate wifi network to connect home automation devices.... must have at least 50 different devices.
