Ships from us, but you won’t get hit with duties. Just 15% tax with free shipping. Works out to a let less, although it is refurbished.

I passed and got a used rbk50 that I’m hoping is more reliable. I am concerned about connection issues with these. Smallnetbuilders said they couldn’t hold a connection, which I’ve seen elsewhere mentioned as well.

Maybe good if you can use the zigbee integration but I have a separate zwave zigbee stick so have no need.

These are great in terms of speed and coverage. I have the omada business access point now which has less range than these.
The only issue i noticed (which several ppl here have said should be okay) is they get hot as the ventilation holes are at the bottom.

Would these be better than the TP Link X20 Wi-Fi 6 model?

For most people this is probably better but depends on your use case. If you have a lot of wifi 6 then the X20 is better but it's dual band. M9 doesn't have wifi 6 but is tri band and the dedicated backhaul will give a performance boost to wifi 5.

Never had any problems with Deco M9. The B&H is just a bit less per puck, for the refurnished units (if you choose the 2 unit option).

All the best with your choice of rbk50 (have no personal experience with them)

What's the difference between M5 and M9? Is there a significant different in speed or coverage?

M5 is a dual band while M9 tri band. M9 is ideal if you don't have wired Ethernet backhaul. The extra band will allow the mesh ap communicate with each other.

M9's also have ZigBee smart hub feature which is not available on the M5...

So far I am really impressed with the TP link APs. My routers WIFI died and i picked up the E4 which honesty was great but then I realized the ethernet passthrough is only 100mb. So for a bit more I upgraded to the X20 which has been just as good and more future proof. As others have said the M9 is even better than the two I have tried so I doubt you will be disappointed.

these devices you can’t change your wifi channels and they have very poor customization. Like it isn’t even worth trouble shooting these without that.

Also dell has this same combo on for $199, and 250 is normal retail price it isn’t a deal on Amazon.

Personally if you don’t want to deal with wifi issues, don’t get this device because you will deal with them. It’s a low end device, and expect low end results.

Ordered an AX1100 and a AX92u for mesh with wired backhaul. Pulling 900+ Mbps across the whole house, full wifi and dedicated bands for different people.

Be careful before buying this.

How much did you pay for the AX1100 and the AX92u overall?

Please also post the link for $250 from dell.

There's a reason for all that, this line of aps are designed for the folks who don't want to mess with any of that. Just setup with the app and forget it. TPlink have their omada lineup for the more tech inclined.

Think he mistook the two pack being sold at Dell for 200 for a 3 pack

I got a 2 pack x60 for 240 from Amazon warehouse this morning. Let’s see how it goes

count me as another M9 Plus 3 pod fan - $269 is a great price for the 3pk.....I really wish I had this deal when I was getting mine.

I paid $229.99 for the 2pk on amazon and $60ish for 1pod on the B&H refurb deal.

This is definitely for households that have straight forward wifi needs - this is set it once in 15mins & forget it using the app. The only thing I did do was set up a dedicated SSD on the 5Ghz band and used the guest network for the 2.4Ghz band. Threw all smart switches, tablets and Google Nest doorbell on the 2.4Ghz.........I mainly use the 5Ghz for laptops, PCs etc....

If you have more complex networking needs, then this isn't for you.

I've had mine running in my house for several months - rock solid & strong wifi throughout the home. The home is about 2800sq ft with high ceilings in on the main floor & basement. Strong consistent wifi....love it....

Great deal on a great (and user friendly) mesh system!
I as well can vouch for these as I have it for over 2 years and I keep recommending it for my friends and family.

I bought 2+2 packs as the 3 packs wasn't available and sold the extra unit on ebay.
