[Amazon.ca] TP-Link Tapo c200 Smart Cam Pan and tilt Home WiFi Camera $39.99

Was looking for a wifi camera for a friend as a baby cam. Amazon has the TP-Link Tapo C200 Smart Cam Pan Tilt Home WiFi Camera on sale now for $49.99 – $15 coupon = $34.99+tax. Offer expired coupon not available anymore. Back on sale again for $39.99
Works with Alexa and google home. This is the first time I’m using a tp-link camera so can’t say on how good or bad it would be, but YouTube reviews have looked promising.

They also have a non pan and tilt version for on sale for $29.99

Anyone know if this works in the Kasa app like other TP link products? Doesn’t seem to say in the description.

Nevermind.. looks like the app is called Tapo for this camera

I feel like Wyze would be a better choice but tplink also makes good products

Nope, they added their own person detection AI instead of using a third party service

No, but they did lose their ability for notifications when people are observed by the camera. However, you can downgrade the software

I got one recently, it works well. Better motion detection and night vision than the Yi camera I have. I think it's better than my dad's Wyze camera too.

Anyone think this might be a cheap temporary option to keep inside the window pointing just outside the front door?

Thanks for the heads up, I've been looking for a camera to use to monitor the baby. This is the price range I'm looking for too.

Anyone have this and know if its compatible with using on a NAS' surveillance software? QNAP or Synology to be specific?

Anyone use this with tiny cam? In https://www.tapo.com/uk/faq/70/ it says or has onvif support but I'm not sure if that will work with the tilt pan features etc.

Also, is this still an issue?
EDIT: Wrong link - this was the issue I was trying to post - there is a limit of 2 minutes when viewing on the app:

looking online they say for c200 it's video only for third party’s like NAS sw, no pan and tilt controls

any other cameras around this price with pan/tilt/1080p for controls with QNAP nas?
