[Amazon.ca] Two 6.6 ft 100W USB C to USB C cables - $8.58 (after $5 coupon)

Return of a previous deal at an even lower price.

I do not have these, but I'm guessing there are a few members that could offer their opinions on them.

Seem to be primarily for charging, as the data rate is only USB 2.

The $5 coupon missing after I added to cart.
When I try again it said "This coupon not available for you"

Edit 3: Just got an email from Amazon this is getting shipped for $9.70.
Not sure what happened but in got one set too.
Thank you OP.

Strange. It works for me.

Edit: The $9.70 includes $1.12 tax (Ontario).

Ordered. Thanks OP! As long as they actually carry the QC current that's a great deal. I like the 90° ends too.

I have Type C to USB charge cables, but what is the point to Type C to C? Is it just the connection to the plug adapter or is it so you can connect to other Type C devices and tether to it?

Samsung chargers require Type C to Type C cables (or an adapter), as the block itself is Type C.

Most charge bricks are moving to USB-C, especially the higher and fast charging ones.

I bought these cables recently and they are excellent. Perfect for when you are using the device while charging since it has the right angle.

Ok, I figured it was a charging brick/plug thing or a tethering to another Type C device, so good to know... Thanks

I have this brand's USB to USB-c 100w cables. So far so good. In the last thread, it was mentioned that they give free products for reviews take that with a grain of salt

I recently bought usb a to c cables from this brand. They're built super well and each cable has a little cable tie too. I highly recommend them, especially when compared some of the other cables at the same price. I don't have any uses for these cables right now, but I'm going to pick them up anyways just because their cables are so nice.

I seem to recall when Type C was first becoming popular there were some concerns about some cables not being rated properly, and there was risk to the battery? Has that mostly been resolved now, or is there a need to check if these cables would comply? I haven't needed to top up my cable supply in a long time

Would purchase would it not be the right angle connector. Good deal for those that do enjoy.

What is the rate of data transfer of this cable? Thunderbolts 3 or 4?

Never mind, web pages says USB-C devices at speedy 480 Mbps. So not compatible with TB

Looks like out of stock from the manufacturer/seller. No longer see $5 coupon. It's $15.98 now.

I'm going to guess it's USB 2.0 speed. I would spend an extra few bucks for USB 3.1 gen1/2 USB-C cable.

Unlike with USB-A cables (where USB3.0 usually has blue interior),
it's hard to figure out Amp / Speed specs just by looking at the USB-C cables themselves.

Yeah. The manufacturer's no longer the top seller, so it's a different price.

Seeing it for sale at the same thing... $15.98 and no coupon
