It's tempting to stockpile, but please buy only what you need!

Exactly. Tylenol and Advil are starting to show up on shelves now, which is also why it's available on Amazon. But if people start hoarding, the shortages will continue for months to come. Buy only what you need and there will be enough to go around for everyone

If Amazon sells out, many pharmacies are keeping children's Advil and Tylenol behind the counter in order to prevent hoarding. Ask at the pharmacy.
This isn't a blog.

If you are ordering for a delivery date in Jan you are likely not in need on any.

I am conflicted, but not ordering. Rarely used or had need for it.

If I order this "just in case" I contribute to limiting the supply.
If I don't order this then it could be an inconvenience getting it.

I ordered Children's Tylenol and Motrin from Amazon in September with delivery estimates in mid-late October.. Motrin was cancelled by Amazon mid-November, Tylenol has yet to ship.

Please don't hoard this if you don't need it.

In case of a shortage, if you are confident with your math skills and you're in a pinch and need Tylenol for kids (not infants), you can cut or crush adult Tylenol and divide it up.
It ends up being cheaper too.

This post is not medical advice. You should talk to your doctor before attempting to perform any substitution.

That's the chance I'm willing to take as a parent. It's better for me to spend $20 on this and have it available when I need it then not having any around than spend all my time driving around hoping I can stumble into one when my kid is having a fever.

Still sold out where I live and with my luck I'll need it when pharmacy is closed. Thanks OP. This will help down the road.

Yeah it’s unfortunate, but It’s no different than having epipen or glucagon on standby

yeah u can keep 2-3 but some people are storing 10s for a kid. in a year if a kid is taking more than 5 Tylenol bottles then the doctor needs to check them. The other 5 bottles are useful for others. No one is questioning about 2-3 bottels
