[Amazon.ca] Unlocked s10/s10+ $949.99/1069.99

Not sure if it's a hot price but I think it might be warm for an unlocked phone with warranty. Has anyone had experience buying unlocked phones directly from Amazon?

Question now is should I buy or wait for s11 that's rumored to come in February

Never seen the s10+ @ at this price at launch without a discount and a phone exchange.

Amazon.ca was selling the S10+ for $899 on Black Friday, so this definitely not a good deal unless you absolute need to buy now.

Couple of s10+ used like new (according to seller) for about 800$ no tax on Amazon. Is that a fait price?

I believe those were international model with no warranty (a lot of phones on Amazon do not have warranty even when brand new, usually they are cited as being international model), whereas according to the link, these have warranty from Samsung Canada. I still don't think its a good deal, regardless

No phones in Canada are carrier locked...you don't need to say 'unlocked' repeatedly.
Not a hot deal.

Around this time last year I picked up an S9 for 300. Might have been in January. S9 was a low selling phone so s10 probably wont drop as much but S11 comes out feb 18. I highly recommend waiting the extra month or two or at least until boxing day if you can.

Amazon renewed has s10 plus for 700.
I *don't* think a brand new unit should be more than 900.

Although the renewed one seems to be the global version that comes with exynos

The renewed one on Amazon has some questionable reviews.

Phonebuff did a comparison on YouTube of the two variants of the S10 and found the exynos had worse standby time.

Performance seems to be par with the snapdragon counterpart. So I wouldn't be worried if performance was the concern.
