I don't trust amazon's review system. They show it as 4.5 star, but if you click through, 8% of the reviews are 1 star. That's high. I refuse to buy something when more than 5% of the reviews are 1 star.

Seems like it's been around this price for over a month give or take.

Fake reviews and defective product. Ordered it few weeks and when I plug my monitor with hdmi I cannot choose 1920x1080 resolution, be careful with this type of product

Dark side of RFD: Tons of stuff that I don't need but still got them because of RFD

Anecdotally, I've been using the 7-in-1, single display version of this for a few months. It's been working flawlessly so far with my laptop, phone, and Switch.

I wouldn't consider 2xHDMI and 1xVGA as a triple monitor.... Not in the last decade.

There is a 2 HDMI + 1 Display Port option for $109.99. I had been looking at this one prior to seeing this post with the VGA version. The price is getting close to some of the official docks out there, but if it works there is lots of great expandability via this dock/hub.

OP hold your flame suit tight. I've been there. Lesser known brand has tons of competition on Amazon. Sometimes I've found same exact item with just different brand name printed on. I posted similar deal before and got burned.

Me neither. I always use Review Meta OR Fake Spot to check the reviews.

I bought one their dongles and the company sent out a card asking me to leave a positive review in exchange for a $10 amazon gift card. That’s why there are so many positive reviews. I don’t know if they actually send out the gift cards, but I returned mine because it was defective.

why not?
If it is because of VGA, it is still a very common interface. VGA works just fine for FHD, and it is more reliable than HDMI. If you are presenting in an office, or if you are going to a conference, you better have a VGA. VGA is still more common than HDMI or DisplayPort, and sometimes the only option available, while laptops no longer have them.

I purchased this model for employee a couple months back. We returned it within two weeks as it was overheating and video calls were disconnecting (due to the internet dropping out because the ethernet connection would fail randomly when connected to the hub).

We ended up going with the Lenovo USB C dock, little more expensive but have yet to come across any connection issues with displays or internet. microsoft-store-lenovo-thinkpad-usb-c-d ... 9-2438204/

Probably because of the negative reviews being abnormally high.
Five seconds using the magic of Google on one of the vendors other hubs shows that they make good products:

That link you provided does not prove what you think it does.

Just so we're both clear, I have no vested interest in this company's success with selling you their USB C hub. However, what you are saying is bunk.
