5$ coupon, from inflated $43.50

pretty cheap dual band USB wifi
any recommendation from wifi experts here?

i want to convert all my older devices to 5Ghz because my shaw modem doesn't work well with 2.4ghz
4500 reviews seem to be enough to just be paid reviews
1200mbps is an overkill for me, not to mention 150mbps is more than enough

Only up to 450Mbs on 5ghz so in reality it won't be so fast but obviously depends on your situation. If you're getting like 50mbs rn with 2.4ghz then obviously this will be a step up.

1 star reviews show problems with possible malicious software, as it's not just plug and play

Does anyone know if I can use this adapter with my printer that has USB port? It is not wireless and have to use ethernet port to hook it to modem. Can I make it wireless using this?

I doubt there's a driver for this adapter in your printer. What you can do is re-purpose an old wifi router to act as a bridge, and plug your printer to that through Ethernet. If you have no spare wifi router, check BST/CL for a cheap/free one. Check this link

Recently, I've upgraded my home networks. The TP-Link WiFi Extender TL-WA850RE is used as an adapter for my old devices. With an ethernet switch (wired), all the 3 devices without WIFI function are all connected my whole home networking.

Your case is to use 5G band. So you need to have higher model like: https://www.amazon.ca/TP-Link-AC750-WiF ... PZQQ51EN4G

IMO, an extender could be more useful. The extender has been used for 5+ years.
