Get full synthetic when it's on sale brother, pennzoil around 25$ @ CT & there's a brand that Walmart sells for 19$

Edit: it was pennzoil, although I remember seeing Mobil 1 somewhere too for 25$

Personally I wouldn't bother with the regular dino oils unless its <$10 for a 5L jug. Watch the hotdeals & one will more likely than not be able to snag a deal for the Syn stuff for round $30 & also get a $10 mail in coupon making it bout $20 for 5L.

The above $25 for the Mobil One is a good deal as well.

I think the best deal out there with the least amt of struggle is the costco inhouse brand kirkland oil (made by warren), it's like $3x.xx for 2x 4.73 L of 5w30 full syn oil when you u buy in person in the warehouse, or pay $4x.xx when you get it shipped from their online store.

If you're going for cheap dino Walmart's Supertech brand is $12.57 right now on rollback and CT Motomaster (Shell) is $13.99 until the end of the day.

I've been using dino oil in my car for 200k, synthetics have come down significantly in price during that time but if it ain't broke...

It's a genuine price OP.

What I did last time was that around Christmas, Quaker State Advanced Durability conventional oil drops down from $25 to $14 at Walmart. Get it price matched at Home Depot and use the email signup discount. And then Quaker State also has a $3 off per jug rebate. A jug comes down to $9. Otherwise that specific Conventional Oil by QS is waaay overpriced.

I've never seen Amazon.ca have a sale on motor oil so I've always been going to Napa, CT, Walmart for the $12.xx Xmas/BF sales for house/Valvoline/QS/Castrol brands, which have now turned into $14.xx sales. Decent price during these times if you need it delivered and just need to get it done.

After finding out about the Kirland synthetic for $35/2x4.73L, I'm no longer buying synthetic oil on sale but use up my stash of Pennzoil synthetic oil. At $17.5/jug, it's a no brainer to get the Kirkland synthetic rather than getting the dino oil for $16.

How do they even make money after having to pay shipping for this?
