1080p might be a bit low for a 32” monitor. But $164 seems cheap enough for kids to do things on the tv.

Panel type is MVA. If you don't know what it is, google it before making a purchase. I still like IPS panel type overall

Is this was 2K, that would have been a steal.

Would this be good for office work? Word, excel and paper research?

Ordered one. I can always return it if it sucks. Price looks good.

Admittedly at 32" 1080p is going to look somewhat blocky for text, but I can tell you it's not the end of the world. My father in his 70s uses a 32" 1080p monitor and when I use it, yeah I notice some pixels, but it's not sky is falling bad to a point where I can't function and start twitching.

For gaming, this is again probably fine, as you'll be able to drive higher refresh rates at 1080p than 1440p.

Price is good, but there are drawbacks that likely lead to the reason for this price. As title says it's a gaming monitor. Some will be turned off by VA, some by the curvature (1500R), some by pixelation (1080p/32"), etc.

Don't buy a 1080p larger than 27 inches. Even 27 inches might be pushing it.

Thanks OP.

I went with the buy now think later as I have a LG 34inch ultra wide. I said let me try this as that is terrible for gaming.

I should get about 150 for that at the least.
