I have the 2500, same mechanical parts, but without the nice presets and touchscreen on the unit (have to use the app to access the advanced presets). I have been very pleased with its performance, especially having come from the 1400w Oster Versa. It's quieter, makes much smoother blends, and the jar is much nicer.

Just be careful with buying on Amazon - they have multiple listings for usually the same product that's sold by Amazon with different prices and I've read a few reviews before where some of them are actually US models so the warranty doesn't work in Canada?

Not sure if true but that's what I've seen.

Case and point for the Ascent 2300:

https://www.amazon.ca/Vitamix-Blender-P ... r=8-5&th=1

vs

https://www.amazon.ca/Vitamix-062047-El ... s=1&sr=8-7

Isn't the container a different type? The first being the low profile one.

Both the same container. The Ascent series only comes with the low profile 64oz container

I'm not saying it's not a hot deal. I'm just surprised so many people have many-hundred-dollar blenders.
This is a forum for people who wanna save a few bucks, whether it’s low or high end items....
Might not be a deal for you but this was a pretty good deal for this top of the line Vitamix model.

Nope, a common misconception. This is a deal hunting site.

I guarantee if somebody posted a deal about 25% percent off a Porsche car, it might be the most popular thread ever.

People want stuff and don't want to pay full price because full price is for suckers.

The other side of this is: sometimes paying for quality is worth it. There is a reason people love Vitamix, they are the industry standard.

The quality is too high!

I've been waiting for my decade-old Vitamix to break down so I can justify a new one with pulse and presets, but it just keeps chugging along!

Same here. I'm so tempted by this deal but we still have our original white Vitamix that we bought from Costco around 2007-2008, still as good as when we got it.
