[Amazon.ca] Warm - TP-Link Deco Whole Home Mesh WiFi System (Deco M4 - 2 Pack) $109.99

Warm deal, I was browsing for a mesh wifi system since my connection has been pretty bad while working from home.

Each unit is $55 before tax.

Stay away from this!
I have the 3 pack version and it's very bad, frequent connection drops.

Get another model.
I was there at the 32$ price error at dell.ca day AND at the 150$ off price error at fs.ca

I have the 3 pack version and it's very good, extremely reliable and no connection drops at all.

Upgrading from a Hitron CGN3 was a night and day difference. No more random outages or dropouts and no more slow-downs.

Been using the 3 pack for the last several months and its night and day over using the Valerie modem from Vrigin. Zero coverage issues in the house now and its been rock solid for connections. So easy to setup and maintain as well!

I have the M4s version, the 3 pack AC1200. Been super reliable, no drops. Connected quickly. expanded my network coverage greatly in my house. Now, I do have a bungalow, so makes it a little easier to place the pods.

Can these be integrated into a Google mesh system? I have an existing Google mesh but want nodes with Ethernet ports now...

Honestly you must have a dud. I have 4 of these units and they are absolutely fantastic.

Nope. Mesh systems from different manufacturers are generally completely incompatible with each other.

You would need to get other Google system like older onhub or google wifi.

If you want more ethernet ports, just connect your Google wifi nodes to a switch.

I would jump on this if I don't already have a mesh system already. This would be a decent price before wifi6 becomes more common.

We've had the 2 pack since Jun 2020 and don't have any issues with it on both bands.

Mine drops at least once per day, the wifi on my router stays connected and fine but the Deco M4 just restarts, it's annoying as hell.

Your unit is defective, get it replaced.

I have 4 units on my network, only time they ever drop is when they update their firmware.
