[Amazon.ca] WD Black SN750 500GB NVMe Internal SSD $79.99 - Gen3 PCIe, M.2 2280

Top tier NVMe PCIe Gen3 drive, at this price no point to buy SATA SSD if you have M.2 PCIe slot available

500GB $79.99 (match ATL)
https://www.amazon.ca/Black-SN750-500GB ... 07MH2P5ZD/

1TB $ 164.42 (ATL was $150)
https://www.amazon.ca/Black-SN750-NVMe- ... 07M64QXMN/

Please don't mention CDW, they ignored many of our orders, so it's on my ignore list.

Got this back during Black Friday and no problems so far. Coming from a SATA ssd the speed increase is great.

I also got a SN550 for $135 and don't notice too much difference. Might be worth it to get the sn550 instead.

Yep, bought this at this Canada Computers couple of weeks a go at this price (now gone back up to 84.99 at Canada Computers). Insane speeds when you are transferring from one m.2 to another.

Would this be better than the Crucial P2 500GB ? The Crucial is $6 extra.

Pretty confident the WD_Black is better, the Crucial P2 is comparable to the WD_Blue.

Even better than P5, let alone P2 which is potentially QLC

Got the same drive for the same price during BF last year at Memory Express. Great drive for a great price. Got the 500 GB version. No problems so far and super fast.

Highly recommended. Thanks for the deal OP!
Why settle for MSRP when you can wait and get it at a lower price? 😉

Thanks. Stupidly ordered the P2 yesterday from Amazon. I'm not even Prime and the order can't be cancelled. I'll either have to magically decline reception (good luck with Intelcom if they're the shipper) or return it, but still worth the trouble for a better SSD. OP thanked.

It's Amazon, just relax. If it's shipped by their own courier, you can choose Cancel this Delivery option if you were not able to cancel prior to shipment. Return to sender may take a long time to refund.

Would this work in M.2 slot on Asrock b450m pro4 motherboard? I am already utilizing the ultra m.2 slot so I am not sure if I can add the second nvme to the 2nd slot

It may differ as i have prime, but one or two months ago, I bought the wrong tablet case for my mom, submit a return request and simply just wrote desceiption not clear, wrong case for tablet. They did not even question or gabe me any hassle. They e-mailed me a return label with paid postage in a couple of hours. Got the refund in several days. Hope that helps!

Yeah returns are easy that's for sure. This month I ordered a wireless vacuum and found it wasn't 'tangle free' the way they described. Free return. I then ordered a warehouse one and it was defective on reception. Free return. I then proceeded to re-purchase the initial one because I accepted the fact that I had to live with the 'tangle' caused by my roommate's super long purple hair Smiling Face With Open Mouth I sadly helped destroy the environment, one shipping at a time.

What is your laptop?

Usually you can just google "*laptopmodel + year* storage upgrade" and find enough info.
