This is a new low according to CCC (previous low $119.99) but it moves up and down a lot so it’s hard to say how long it’ll be $114.99.

Happy holidays!

Although for most people, this would be good enough for gaming, browsing the internet and stuff. But for the computer nuts, this is a pretty slow M.2 drive, since it runs on the SATA standard. It's better to buy the Nvme variants for much higher speed performances at close to 4x -5x the speed, beneficial for installing a game, or any time you read or write large files or large groups of files, like movies, large photo collections for $30-50 more.

The connector that is split 3 ways, is the B&M key connector, the connector that splits 2 ways is the M key connector, that is Nvme.

So, this is a hybrid drive ?
It looks bulky. Would not fit a laptop right ?

Not a hybrid drive. Hybrid drives are traditional hdd's with some flash memory for caching. This is an ssd in an m.2 format, just using a sata lane on your mobo instead of pcie like an nvme drive would. It looks like it's single sided so it should fit your laptop as long as your laptop fits m.2 2280 sized drives.

if people bought an NVME drive assuming it would work on their computer without doing proper research, this post could be misleading. My computer doesn't support NVME

Non NVME m.2 drives like these make great portable storage with the addition of a USB enclosure for less than $20. So under $150 or less one can have a 1TB portable SSD.
