Yes, the HGST Ultrastar are enterprise drives.

Caveat: Users likely have to use a molex to SATA adapter because these drives were meant to be used in enterprise settings where remote restart feature is valued.

Not sure if the drive works as well when shucked though.
Both work fine, since they are both HGST Ultrastars He.
I have some of the He 8TB running in one of my systems.

The 10TB size is worth the slight price premium to some users, since they consider/factor limited number of SATA ports.
e.g. Those with complete, all seasons of multiple TV series and hoard movies in HD. :D

I have only ever had 1 seagate and 1 WD drive die. I know my seagate was out of warranty but my WD black had a good warranty and it was replaced. So far I have a 8TB seagate I got like a year or two ago and it still runs fine and its on 24/7.

All "My books" are 3 year Warranty, so one should assume a better drive inside...

I would point out if you plan to shuck it then the warranty wont matter if you shuck it right away. I know the seagates got a bad rep with their 3TB drives which was deserved, then the bad rep got magnified 500% with backblaze unscientific survey of using those drives in an iffy environment. But his was over half a decade ago. These newer Seagate drives might be different.
I have one 10tb seagate and working great.. planning tongave another one to shuck in my home security nvr

Can u plz confirm if it will work ... as I think it's still a better option to go for barracuda pro drives ... right ???

Planned to shuck and install today.

Opened the box, plastic casing already lose, slid back the enclosure and found 1TB Seagate sitting inside surrounded by that grey soft insulation foam.

This is shipped and sold by amazon, plastic seal stickers were intact on box.
