Samsung 980 was the same price and I went for that with no particular.reason, but now the 980 is back to original price and that makes this one a good deal.

The non PRO 980 has no dram cache so this WD is better in that regard.
I'm going to regret not getting this but wallet safe for now.

definitely check the SMART data on these SSD when you get them from Amazon. I just initiated a return of XPG Gammix S11 Pro I bought. SMART data says 92% health remaining and 70TB life time writes. Looks like a refurb unit that was sold as new.
