[Amazon.ca] Weber iGRILL 2 for 69.50$

Not sure if it's worth the price tag although lowest price according to CCC.

Has anybody used it and should I get it ? I've seen similar devices with two probes at the same price point but without an app.

Use it often would recommend. Don’t wash the sensors wipe with damp cloth only.

Stuck in a Box
Did anyone else click here wondering if there was a cheap COVID19 special on Weber Grill?

I bought an iGrill2 a few years ago and I use it all the time for both indoor and outdoor cooking. I like the fact that it has a display, which I think the new one doesn't, so you don't need to use your phone all the time. It works very well and the app is rock solid. (Note that the first few iterations of the app after Weber bought iGrill didn't work well and crashed all the time but this has been fixed for a while now.) I use rechargeable batteries in it and have only replaced them twice since 2017 even though I cook roasts for 8 hours with it turned on.

I highly recommend it

Just checked - I bought it April 2017 for $69.30 less a $10 coupon so the price is pretty much the same.

The iGrill 3, is also on sale for the same price at Amazon ($69.50). However check the pro reviews online (most recommend v2 instead of v3, unless you have Genesis2, Genesis2-LX, or Spirit2 model bbq's).

I hope you're not walking into home Depot just to buy an igrill2

I have the older idevices branded igrill2. The app works well. The graphs are nice. It helps with estimating when the cook will finish.

I have the iGrill and like it a lot except for the short bluetooth range. I'd much rather it have wifi.

If your grill is more than about 25' away from where you want to be, expect to lose the connection. I can use it fine at home, but it's way too short a distance at the cottage.

I have the genesis 2 but NG so the iGrill 3 only benefit is some extra battery life, but I loose the portability to use it in my oven and need my phone (no display). Seems like a step back, unless range is improved?
