Saw this portable storage on sale @ lowest price according to CCC, pretty nice deal at 2TB and nice design.

Thanks for posting, have my upvote. Sometimes users just downvote for many reasons, but I appreciate the effort and thanks for taking the time to share and post it.

P.S. They are imaginary internet points, but I use votes to glance and decide if it is worth the time to open and see if it is a deal I might want to jump on, definitely nothing to lose sleep over, hahaha.

I would personally avoid WD passports unless you want to lose your data.

Our backup drive at work just turned into a potatoe.

Was it a hard drive or a solid state drive (SSD)?

I would not compare their reliability since they are totally different products, imho

Last I checked, these are just an internal ssd, a controller, some screws and some double sided tape. These aren't cheap enough to be in shucking territory but it's nice to know they aren't solded like the hard drive passports.
