They don't even make Green drives anymore.

I'm always worried about getting a HDD shipped... damn couriers!

Well, they'll do a better job if you dont order it with something that big and bulky. Typically they use paper wrap and or bubble wrap. But I guess because the guy ordered it with A PAN then there's going to be a lot of dead space inside the box.

they can drop the package all they want, it wont damage the drive.. its packed pretty good. Also, as long as the drive is not powered on while it gets dropped, it should be fine. Its got as much risk of being damaged as it has getting shipped to the store you walk into buy it. So don't be deterred from buying online.
