Just bought my 3rd V3 just now for the first time on Amazon Canada. $37.37 is cheaper than Home Depot and cheaper than importing from Amazon USA.

I got my second one from Amazon USA yesterday (not good timing) as well. Haven't opened the package. Wonder what the return process would be and if worth sending it back, but if it's a hassle I'll just absorb the loss.

is there a way you can hack it to record to a NAS? or use a third party app like Tiny Cam or IP Cam Viewer

Yeah you can use Tiny Cam with it. I have Tiny Cam Pro and have it constantly recording my wyze cameras to my Nvidia Shield's local storage.
The Pro version also has a web server feature built in, so you can also access the feeds from programs like Blue Iris on your PC. It's very handy.
