Saw this yesterday morning, I had to reorder as the $30 coupon came up 8 hours after I initially placed my order...

Good deal, yes. Note I found it interesting there isn't that much of a price delta between 2.5" SSDs and Gen 3 m.2 NVMEs.

Looks like a great deal. Been looking for more storage for PC. Finally pulled the plug today and bought this.

How do you know a SSD works with a PS5? Does this work with a PS5?

Hi, I have got this one for my ps5 and is work very well for only 30$ more. Also I have this brand for a fews years now and is a good brand is the same from the OP Yes the speed is a little less don't notice it vs the others overpriced compatible but this one is compatible the manufacturer also reported it ... Enjoy!

My SN750 is still NIB, so I was debating whether to get this instead and save $50+tax on a 2TB NVMe drive. For anyone else wondering, this (XPG) drive has a heatsink attached and is therefore generally only compatible with desktops/towers. It is most likely not comfortable with your laptop.

Edit: according to reviews on Amazon, it may also not fit into some desktop setups because of the layout and how some mobos already have a heatsink for SSD. If it fits in your system, it's probably a good deal.

It doesn't look like it meets the minimum performance threshold for the PS5.

Hi, I already mentioned that the speed is a little lower than the ssd which are double the price and recommended by sony... The ssd that I proposed is half the price of the others with a little less speed but fully compatible with the gen 4 and ps5... the manufacturer mentioned that it is ps5 compatible, moreover people who bought this SSD are satisfied with this drive in their ps5. I also have this ssd in my console and it works well, there is no noticeable difference not to justify double the price for an SSD.

As the performance demands of PS5 games increase, I'm not comfortable recommending this drive.

This is asking for stuttering in fast motion gameplay.

Is ok It's your choice, not all of us have 500$ to put in a ssd like for example the WD SN850. It works well and I have 2TB more in my ps5 that's the important thing for me.

Thanks! This should do well for a Lightroom drive - I was hoping for a PCIE 4 drive, but this should still be plenty fast.
