[Amazon.ca] XPG Gammix D10 DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz - $99.99

I was looking for some fast ram and found these on amazon.ca
99.99$ for DDR4 3200 MHz 16GB seems like a good deal to me during these covid times.

It’s been this price since ever. I have been eyeing ram for the past couple of months and the only best deal they had was asgard 3200 mhz for 79.99

Good stable find. Usually ADATA products on Amazon are tax free as well. I bought 2 2x8gb 3000mhz D10 kits during BF for $65 each tax free. Will warn they (atleast mine) don't overclock well.

Not tax-free anymore. Changed months ago.

Sucks that I didn’t pull the trigger on those ones, have been waiting on a sale for the same sale for so long but no luck.

I was looking at the Adata earlier in the week. Crazy shipping times were throwing me off.

If you don't care about heat spreaders, this is also supposedly Hynix C-die:
2x8GB $92 https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07P93 ... =UTF8&th=1
1x16GB $85 https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07QT8 ... =UTF8&th=1 (was $83 a day or two ago)

They price fluctuates a bit. They also have a 2x16 kit for $165ish that goes in and out of stock.

I ordered two of the 16GB and received them next day. Haven't looked at the chips yet. Does have a sort of cool black PCB.

Comes packaged just like Kingston used to, when RAM didn't have to make a fashion statement.

And to be honest I found adata is easier to overclock than viper. I was easily able to achieve the rated timings with 3600 (3200 original) MHz on adata, while on viper I could only go up to 3400 MHz (3200 original) while sacrificing the rated timings. I’m on ryzen 3200g with b450m from asrock

Nice! I tried overclocking 3 different D10 3000Mhz kits and I couldn't push them passed 2966Mhz on a B450 Aorus Elite, an Asrock B450, or an MSI 570x. Kept locking up after a short amount of time. I couldn't be bothered to try any harder for the marginal return in performance.

I don’t know if I was doing it right, but I made all the changes in bios and cpu-s reflected everything correctly and the computer didn’t crash while running heaven benchmark and Aida 64. Not sure if I was just lucky, or maybe adata is actually a very good brand.
