[Amazon.ca] XPG SX8100 4TB NVMe Gen3x4 PCIe M.2 2280 SSD $479.99+Tax (after $50 coupon)

Not PS5 compatible, but good size for gaming drive especially if your laptop support M2 drives only.
Need to clip on coupon for $50 discount.

Decent price for a 4TB NVMe Gen 3. I bought a SATA SSD of the same capacity for a similar price a couple of years ago.

Beware that this is likely one of the downgraded ADATA drives which swapped from TLC to QLC. The early reviews for the model were all for TLC, but at QLC you get substantially worse performance, and this drive has very little DRAM to compensate.

Might be good for a storage drive but I wouldn't install an OS or any demanding application on it.

This equals to about $120 per TB. Pretty good considering the usual mark-up for higher capacities.

Not bad, It's too bad it's older tech though. These are Probably downgrades as well speed wise, but still not the worst.

It's not good performance wise, returned it back last time when I got on sale. Also for normal usage it should be ok

Information for the SX8100 is very sparse. Someone can correct me if I'm mistaken, but the 4TB SX8100 was always QLC. 2TB and lower capacities is/was TLC. These drives come with a Realtek controller and have DRAM.
