[Amazon Canada] Yi 1080P camera $34.99

Yi 1080P camera is on decent sale @ Amazon today in their "lightning deal". It is not their best price but pretty decent IMO if anyone is looking for this device in particular

CCC is showing $27.27 lowest price? Amazon.com $30.99USD? Is this really worth it?

This thing was great and super clear video, but I could not get past not having geofencing options. Oyf that doesn't bug you, it's a great little security camera.

This is cheaper than $31 use. Direct conversion would be $41cad.

What geofence option would you look for? To disable camera when home?

Thanks - I've been shopping for a little camera to place in the window so I can remotely connect and check things out. Was looking for PTZ, but with the FOV on this, I think it will do the job for the price.

I would not suggest Wyze cam v2, they die on me after a few months of usage. I bought 4 of them and all of them are dead now

Thanks for this feedback. I was planning to buy this one.
Whether batteries dead or the entire camera stopped working?

Has anyone used this mounted near a window to get exterior surveillance? I wanted to get an outdoor camera but wiring it will be a pain. This seems like it might work if I stick it in a window near the door.

Really? wow, that wasn't in any feedback I read about. Is this issue widespread?

IR/night vision doesn't work with camera against glass, reflects back into own lens, but daytime and non IR works fine with any model.

Didn't know this existed, thanks, as I definitely could see value in being able to.
