This camera is perfectly fine. Ive been using it since they released it 3 years ago (120K views later). No issues with heat or cold, no issues with the non-issue of the 10-20mah internal battery exploding (which , if it did... would do absolutely NOTHING [b/c its a 10-20mah battery].... PEOPLE STOP FEAR MONGERING).
Plenty of areas with mild winters in Canada, so where do you live?

Any of the high endurance cards here: Your text to link here...
Why does it have to be high endurance? can I just be a cheaper class 10 SD card?
I own a service with Public Mobile and with Fido. [removed solicitation]

Bought this Christmas 2018. Still using it. Works like a charm, had no issues. Not great at capturing license plates but I just leave the microphone on and read the license plate out loud if I need it. Haven't had any issues regarding heat/cold. I do 1080p30fps due to a limited memory card. Only issue I have is the super wide angle lens makes things look farther than they are. But the fact that the lens is so wide means you have a huge frame of capture which I really appreciate.

Been using this for almost 2 years. No issues so far.
I am thinking of pulling the trigger but has this cam performed well during winter at minus 20? Thanks a lot!

I've been using the reg class 10 SD card from Costco for the past 2 years on 4 of these cameras and no issue.

It's a slide and lock type clip, how can it fall off?
Am I missing this lock/clip lol jeeze I threw out the box! I was like if only there was something cylindrical to slide in there....

Update. I had a threaded bolt that fit and screwed in perfectly rock solid!

You can use a regular class 10 card, but it may not last long in there depending on how much is written on it. This is true of all dash cams. All luck of the draw when using regular SD cards. I ran through (corrupted or broke) 2 Sandisk ultra cards in 2 years before I switched to the high endurance Sandisk, so far so good.

In the market for a dash-cam, but lots of bad reviews for this one. Picture quality looks terrible too in the those user videos. Can someone maybe recommend a better one?
I bought one several months ago and I love it! Amazing video quality, can see all the licence plates, signs and may have accidentally witness a "women in red" moment. LOL.

I only paid $109 when it was on sale. I'm actually going to purchase a second one for the back window to record what goes on behind me. Great for insurance purposes!!

I use this card. https://www.visions.ca/product-detail/4 ... %2f128GBCR

The reason I got this was for the 4K quality. Also, it has GPS location and can track your speeds so if you ever get pulled over and the cop says you were speeding, pull out the video in court!

Average low in Jan/Feb for Toronto looks to be -7C. It's about -20C for Dec/Jan/Feb where I live. Can't say for sure the cold killed my previous battery dash cam, but the capacitor model I have hasn't given me issues.
