FYI - I ordered one from the previous sale and it's the international version.

Great price compared to other competitive cameras currently being sold for around $80 in recent sales. Probably mostly because it uses the cheaper OnSemi sensor instead of the Sony sensor http://www.onsemi.com/PowerSolutions/pr ... d=AR0230CS, but the specs and the video quality are comparable without getting into nitpicking details. Battery instead of super-capacitor, not so good for operating temperature range or lifespan, but it does offer WiFi video downloading for extra value.

How do you black it out exactly?

I have some Chinese coworkers that translate when needed. Usually it's pretty obvious though.

With black tape. A black marker or paint would probably also work.

Canadian Tire carries an assortment of the 3M double-sided sticky pads. Just cut to fit if you can't find an exact match.

Anyone have pictures of the Yi version mounted? I'm not a big fan of mounts that require (semi)permanent double sided tape on the windshield.
I like something that has a quick disconnect so I can remove it instead of always leaving it installed; does the Yi have a quick disconnect?

Thanks
