I have the king size of this mattress, picked it up for 299 Boxing Day 2017. This is the best mattress we have ever owned. To this day it’s provides amazing sleep and support. Our previous mattress was a kingsdown we bought for 2500 and that one sucked after year one. We roughed it out for another 4 years but I was just so sick of waking up with aches and pains. Finally said enough and figure a cheap one for a year would be ok. Going on two years and the Zinus is amazing. My wife and I still rave about this mattress. After our experience we bought all new zinus mattresses for the cottage as well and are loving it. I would 3-4 times thia price considering the quality of sleep

Hi,

For those who own this - how long did it take for off-gassing to finish?
I ordered this for my mom but after airing out for 14 days, it's still too smelly to use. I guess I got a dud?

Thanks

Does this mattress deplete over time? I wonder how it compares to say Casper or Endy.
If it's not free, it's too expensive...

You must have ordered from one of those non-amazon sellers offering a too good to be true price.

Personally I would never go all foam again. The foam/coil hybrids are the way to go in my opinion.

Although some on RFD and Amazon seem to be happy with their purchase. All mattresses suffer from sagging and soft spots over time, but with all foam it seems to be more prevalent.

This. There is an icoil version but it’s not currently on sale (Best Buy and Walmart both sell a black version for 599)

This is usually how it goes....but not always, read reviews on your particular mattress if available.

10" - Firmest
12" - Somewhere in Between 10" and 14"
14" - Softest

I've owned it for about 18 months and both my wife and I are on the heavier side :) and there is no depression or hump visible. Will it happen in the future, possibly but my old kingsdown started to have a dip much earlier. Overall I still wake up with no pain and have full restful sleep.

Does it go all soft and unsupportive when it's warm? At anything above 'cold' I sink into my current one and the back support is awful

No, it came in a box vacuum packed so it was about the size of a really large subwoofer. So maybe 24"x24"x36"

I got the 8 in version like a month ago and it still smells. I started using it , apparently the smell is not a health risk, more of an inconvenience.

Fiberglass worse case scenario -

Please do some research before purchasing, this Mattress uses Fiberglass as a fire retardant, after prolonged used it will break down small enough to seep through the protective cover and cause itching/respiratory issues. You cannot expect all cheap items to be high quality, when I learned about this I returned mine as I have an infant.

There are more quality alternatives which use no Fiberglass but are more expensive - queen sizes are typically $900 or so (Endy, Leesa, Casper are the top tier quality ones). I ended up purchasing Endy as they are made in Canada, and there's showrooms where you can test them out in person.
