[Amazon Canada] Zojirushi 4L Water Boiler and Warmer (CD-JWC40HS) - $184.15

Been watching a few of these water boilers waiting for prices to drop. This is close to the Amazon.ca historic low of $181 according to CCC.

Alternatively, this is also at a historic low on Amazon.COM for $120USD (~$158 CAD) if you're close to the border - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N09E83R

Features
  • Micro computerized temperature control system
  • 3 keep warm temperature settings (175°F, 195°F, 208°F)
  • Optional Quick Temp mode reaches 175°F, or 195°F keep warm directly without reaching a boil
  • Energy-saving timer function (6-10 hours)
  • Café drip dispensing mode for slower dispensing
  • Multiple safety features including: removable magnetic power cord, safety auto shut-off and automatic dispense lock
  • Made in Japan

Obviously this isn't for everybody, a normal kettle is dirt cheap in comparison, but the convenience is worth it in the long run. These made in Japan ones are known to last a long, long, long time.

Updates:

The vacuum sealed version (CV-DCC40XT) is also reduced to $219.80. It is also $145 USD (~$190 CAD) on Amazon.com https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00R4HKIV8
Costco also sells the 5L commercial one (CD-LTC50) for $199.

Costco Business Centres usually sell the 5L version for $199.

Link to the product here: https://www.costcobusinesscentre.ca/Zoj ... 19154.html

I know it says $202.59 on the website but it includes delivery.
White panorama window version (CD-LFC40) is the same price.

Based on reviews the Made in Japan ones are built better and last way longer. The pricing reflects that.

This energy efficient VE® Hybrid Water Boiler & Warmer utilizes vacuum insulation technology (like travel mugs) to keep water hot with very little electricity.

I have that one. Would recommend. Thermos walls are not hot and once the water is hot, it does not take much to keep temperature.
