**Confusion alert: this has nothing to do with the teleconference software.** Although I do use my field recorder as a microphone sometimes when I move my Zoom calls to the coffee table.
Zoom is an audio brand that has been making equipment for ages before the software came onto the scene.
Got the CCC notification this morning - lowest ever and been watching since summer.
This is NOT a traditional shotgun microphone but uses a proprietary connector. Made for Zoom H5, H6, and F2 field recorders (you cannot plug this mic directly into your computer/mixer).
In my experience with the mono version (this one is stereo), it sounds surprisingly good. Look to Youtube for comparisons.
This is not the microphone for the absolute best audio quality but the convenience of swapping/storing mic capsules is what sold me on their system. Great for travel blogging, videography, etc. if you need a compact system.
