QLED is attractive, and those used prices are decently better.

I just don't get monitor prices. They must know that monitor-size 4K TVs are quickly catching up, at a fraction of the price.

This isn’t 4k, this is a wide 1440p panel. 4k is 2160p.

In the ultrawide world, 1440p is pretty much as good as it gets, there's one step above but it costs thousands (1600p). This entire monitor domain is laughably expensive.

Here's a 38" ultrawide 1600p monitor on the cheaper end at $1300+.

At the risk of diverting this thread, that's why I believe the LG UM7300 43" 4K IPS TV [2019] is the low-key monitor winner in 2019 at only $428.

Hmmm. Amazon description/title says 4K but I don't see it described this way on the Samsung site so I'll edit that part out and let buyers decide. I'll also add the Samsung page link in the first post.

TVs you are sacrificing input lag and at smaller sizes refresh rate as well as bigger foot print on your table.

That being said TVs are definitely cheaper than monitors when it comes to resolution and screen size for the money.

Love the look of this monitor. Looking for one that supports nvidia g-sync natively.
