.......
July 13, 2017 to October 25, 2018: BOC raised rates 5 times and MCAP raised its prime rate next day each time.

2020: BOC dropped rates 3 times and MCAP waited and waited to drop its prime rate to include all 3 drops.

Both C8 and C1900 have beamforming so if wireless signal/range is reason for router then probably no difference with either three.

Mu-Mimo have no idea about but SNB tests don't show good results unless get Netgear 7800. http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/wireless ... s-compared

And more importantly how many devices presently have that can take advantage of these higher speeds?

If need new router then I would say OP's deal is very good or if need to update a N600 or lower router.

Would not update from existing AC1200/1750/1900 if working well.

Just my opinion.

Thanks, I just get suckered in because it's a good deal. Face With Stuck-out Tongue And Tightly-closed Eyes

The better deal is of course saving my money.

How's this compared to the R7000? I've been waiting and waiting for the R7000 to hit record low in price but no luck yet, should I continue waiting or bite on this deal?

According to smallnetbuilder, the R7000 is an overall better router with better USB throughput and overall WAN/LAN throughput. This TPLink has the cool new MIMO thing, but unless your devices have it I doubt it will do much better?
I'm keeping my R7000 until a huge jump comes along, maybe AD wireless.

That said, if you have neither, this one would be pretty awesome anyways. Great price too!

So I bought this two weeks ago when it was $139. For $128, I would say this is a no-brainer. It's been pretty rock solid so far and range is pretty good too. Also, it's based on Qualcomm processor and so supported by OpenWRT.

Thanks OP.

Ordered at The Source, think later. Total with tax $103.95

Since I registered a PSP account on the Jaybird freedom hot deal, it became $116.99-$25 coupon = $91.99 + $11.96 tax = $103.95

Is this hot?

Incredible deal, congrats. I bought this for much more. I initially had wi-fi connection problems but after adjusting the channels, its been rock solid. I get a signal from anywhere in the house. Couldn't say that about my old router.

I literally had it in my cart at the Source when it somehow told me my updated quantity was zero... And now it's out of stock. So who's the bastard here who stole it from me? Lol
