Yes. But it appears demand for bread maker is high. It’s hard to find a bread maker with better reviews and cost less than $100.

Gluten-Free Setting

Great, Thank OP!

Anyone know what the machine does with the gluten after it removes it?

Does it goes in a gluten bin? Is it easy to clean?

Also, at the end, is it really 100% gluten free?

I don't think it actually remove gluten. User Manual states "Gluten Free (Time: 2 hours, 10 minutes)" and "Gluten Free - Use this setting for baking gluten free breads. It is necessary to make sure that all ingredients being used are marked as gluten free. Note that wheat-free does not always mean Gluten-free, you must read all labels carefully."

It looks gluten free ingredients takes more time to become bread :-)

No bread maker can make a gluten-containing flour magically gluten-free of course.

It's just a different setting if you happen to be making gluten-free bread. Think of it like the brown rice setting on rice cookers. Completely different setting because the ingredients are different.

Indeed. While celiac disease is a real and serious condition, I'd guess that >95% of people on a gluten-free diet 1) Don't need to be on one and 2) Aren't really on a completely gluten-free diet anyway.

Ironically, I buy gluten separately to put in my bread sometimes. It's nice to have a stash of gluten around since it can effectively turn regular flour into bread flour. It's cheap and they sell it at Bulk Barn.

Yeah, it doesn't have the gluten free setting too. I have the Sunbeam one from 6 years ago bought for $40. Didn't use it that much until last year.

I have the older version of this bread machine - going strong for 5+ years and works great.
would recommend - usually sunbeams quality is not that great but it looks like they know what they are doing with their bread machines
