[Amazon] Amazon.com Xiaomi Mi M365 electric scooter $399 USD

*** Admins please move it to appropriate category as I didn't know in which category to place it ***

Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter, 18.6 Miles Long-range Battery, Up to 15.5 MPH, Easy Fold-n-Carry Design, Ultra-Lightweight Adult Electric Scooter (US Version with Warranty). This is the 2019 model.

Does not ship to Canada, but it's a free shipping to CBI. This is historic low I've seen! Few days ago it was discounted from $499 to $449 and today went down to $399.

This is the same scooter that is used by Lime and Bird companies.

Order Summary
Item(s) Subtotal: $399.00 USD
Shipping & Handling: $24.05 USD
Free Shipping: -$24.05 USD
Total before tax: $399.00 USD
Estimated tax to be collected: $31.92 USD
Grand Total: $430.92 USD

Cheapest one in Canada can be purchased for $700 on kijiji.

I guess... but if these are called push or kick scooters, then what would you call an electric one? :)

Amazon US does not ship this item to Canada, so I ordered for pick up in CBI-USA. You pay state tax, can't go around it I guess. Will see how much they'll charge me customs when I bring it to Canada. CBI-USA only charges $5.95 USD per package.

These aren't street legal here in Toronto... I looked into it, but electric bicycle is the way to go, if that's what you're wondering...

Been on the lookout for these scooters for a while.

But picking up from the US seems a hassle - anyone looking to do a pickup?

This is not an e-bike and it's really a gray area. From MTO website

* The minimum wheel width or diameter cannot be less than 35mm/350mm.

So clearly does not qualify as an e-bike.

Not sure about Toronto proper but Waterloo has Lime scooters so it's probably fine until they clearly define it on the municipal level.

Clearly not legal, but I've ridden a similar scooter past a couple of cops over the past 2 summers and didn't get a second look (on the sidewalk)

I've been going crazy trying to get the Xiaomi m365 pro scooter in Canada. Most places in China won't ship to Canada, and the places that do are prohibitively expensive.

You can get the regular version on kijiji for $700+ or BestBuy for $800
